Dear Customer,

Regulation (EU) 2016/679 establishes that the interested party must be informed in advance about the use of data concerning them and that the processing of personal data is allowed only with the consent of the interested party except in cases provided for by law.

Holder of the treatment

Gambero Rosso S.p.A. holds the role of data controller pursuant to and for the purposes of art. 4 n.7) and art. 24 of Regulation 2016/679 (hereinafter Gambero Rosso or the Data Controller), as regards the processing of personal data carried out for registration on the "Gambero Rosso" website: https://www.gamberorosso.it/ (hereinafter, the Portal), in order to use the services of the Portal itself.

Joint ownership for marketing purposes

For the processing of personal data for the purposes of sending commercial communications, marketing and market research, there is joint ownership between the other companies belonging to and not belonging to Class Editori Publishing House, indicated at the bottom of this document (hereinafter, Joint Controllers).

Purpose of the processing

Only the data necessary for the following purposes will be used:

4. for communication or transfer to third parties of the personal data provided by the interested party by the Joint Controllers indicated in this privacy statement, belonging or not to Class Editori Publishing House, for marketing purposes by third parties belonging to the following product sectors: agriculture, insurance, banks, commerce, education, finance, industry, tourism, fashion, IT, legal/administrative, marketing, media and communication, public administration, real estate, healthcare.

Legal basis

Personal data is processed by virtue of the consent expressed by the interested party (Article 6 paragraph 1 letter a) for the purposes referred to in points 2, 3, 4 and by virtue of the legitimate interest of the Data Controller for the purposes referred to in point 1 (art.6 paragraph 1 letter f).

Recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data may be disclosed

The data will be processed by the employees and collaborators of the Data Controller and of the Joint Controllers, as authorised for the processing and by external companies, identified as external data processors, who carry out activities strictly connected and instrumental to the management of the purpose of the processing.

Transfer to third countries

The data will not be transferred to third countries.

Retention period

Personal data will be kept until the conclusion of the contractual relationship and for retention times dictated by binding laws for the administrative and accounting purposes referred to in point 1; until the withdrawal of consent and in any case no later than 10 years for the commercial purposes referred to in point 2 and no later than 5 years for the commercial purposes referred to in points 3 and 4.

Rights of the interested party

The interested party has the right to obtain from the Data Controller and the Joint Data Controllers, each for their own purposes, the confirmation that personal data concerning them is being processed and in this case having the right to:

obtain access to personal data, request the correction or deletion of personal data or the limitation of the processing of personal data concerning them, or to oppose their processing;
to receive personal data concerning them in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and has the right to transmit such data to another data controller (data portability);
be informed of the existence of an automated decision-making process, including profiling;
if expressed, withdraw the consent at any time without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before the revocation;
lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
