Joe, chef and owner of Pane e Vino, won the bet he made with himself to offer to the vast italian population living in the small state of Rhode Island an authentic high-quality italian traditional cuisine. The ingredients are strictly imported from Italy, and every single dish is realised with a selected olive oil. The wines from the prestigious list are carefully selected, preferring some niche productions, representatives of the lands of origin. The fregola and the puttanesca, in particular, convinced us for the amazing raw material and the decisive taste, that it is not easy to find in North America. Even the daily picked seafood and the linguine all’acqua pazza represent admirably the italian style. The value for money is good, and the service is lovely, thanks to the professionalism of Giulia Corpolongo. 2 Gamberi.
