Piero, Tiziana and Gian Marco: the men (respectively father and son) work in the dining room, the girl works in the kitchen, as in the best tradition. Which is indeed the main feature of the place, a comfortable and well-kept place where the cuisine is genuine and tasty, but not too rustic, because Tiziana's expert hands also know how to soften where needed. In general it's a triumph of typicality, from fava beans and bitter greens; orecchiette with seasonal sauces, and homemade bread and focaccias. Separate chapter for the winery, already rich and now open to visitors, dug in local Lecce stone. And lastly, newly opened Spiriti Gourmet, next door, offering pizza and seasonal preparations in gourmet version.
The best trattorias/bistrots are marked with 1,2,3 shrimps according to their quality grades.
