A great classic that never disappoints. Informal setting, with retro posters and leather sofas, and an always crowded dining room. On the table we start with tradition, honoured with the three roast meats stuffed plin, or with the exquisite rabbit tuna, the mythical vitello tonnato. But there is no lack of perfect interpretations, think cappellacci stuffed with oxtail, lemon and ginger. As much as the meat is the master - the braised veal cheek with Barbera is excellent - there is also good seafood. Over all, maximum attention to ingredients, many of the territory. A respectable cellar with a wide selection of Piemonte wines.
The best trattorias/bistrots are marked with 1,2,3 shrimps according to their quality grades.
