Tuscan with Neapolitan origins, Loredana Schettino runs Il Vicolo restaurant, alongside her sons Luca and Francesco. Located in Rue Mazarine, the historic street named after Jules Mazarin, diplomat and founder of the Collège des Quatre-Nations, today known as Institut de France, the restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere. The large panoramic window allows guests to peek at the street that houses the Samaritaine, the city's emblematic art nouveau and art deco building. Loredana offers her customers traditional cuisine, revisited and perfected by talented chef Maurizio Carlucci, who combines land and sea in the kitchen. The Mediterranean flavors are combined with the experience of the cook, which delivers a good interpretation of modern Italian cuisine.
