Agroittica Lombarda - Calvisius

Description

Today if you think of Italy and caviar, you think of Calvisius (www.calvisius.it). Well, in case you were wondering, they've been making it here since the 1990s! And still today Agroittica are the only group in Europe who've been able to create the conditions necessary to raise the legendary white sturgeon, a prized fish that can live up to 100 years. Their efforts and commitment to traditional, artisanal methods have paid off, thrusting them into pole position with a product that stands out for its high-quality. Their partnership with Italian Caviar has resulted in two new lines of products: Calvisius and Ars Italica Calvisius. The former offers fresh and smoked white sturgeon, Malossol, which is low-salt caviar, and the prized Beluga. The latter features caviar from sturgeons raised in the Ticino Park. There are five varieties to choose from: Oscietra Classic, Royal and Imperial, Da Vinci (made from Adriatic sturgeon) and Sevruga. Salmon, tuna, trout and swordfish stand out among their smoked fish product line.
