"Sciavuro" is Sicilian dialect for fragrance and inspires the name of the farm, and the fragrance is also evident in the jars of sweet and savoury preserves made by Rosario Tortorici, who started out as a fruit grower and now cans it too. Above all marmalades and jams, including a Slow Food Presidium classic strawberry of Ribera version, alongside that of the late-crop mandarin. There are also vegetable jams, for instance using the Slow Food Presidium Giarratana onion, and vegetable pâtés and pesto, wine jellies, honey, olive oil, and wine.
