Description

A world leader in the production of primary foods like milk and its derivatives, but also of fruit-based drinks. It brands milk in all its variants: fresh and long-life, from Premium Blue, the first in Italy made with microfiltration, to Zymil, the easy-to-digest milk with reduced lactose content. With Chef, a brand established in 1970, it created the market for long-life savoury cream and béchamel, later flanked by the salmon, four-cheese, ham, and porcini mushroom versions. Among the most innovative products is there YOChef, a cream and yogurt sauce that tastes just like cream with only 6.5% fat and low in cholesterol. In July 2011 the company was acquired by the French group Lactalis.
