Deseo was created just 20 years ago by Francesco Pandolfini, the latest generation of family to lead the historic Mattei biscotti maker in Prato, Italy. They produce artisanal PGI Tuscan cantuccini with almonds, and in various other flavors (hazelnut and dark chocolate, candied orange peel, pistachios and walnuts, almonds and milk chocolate etc.), plus Tuscan shortbread (with spelt flour, corn, wholewheat and sugar-free), biscotti with butter and extra-virgin olive oil, crunch, cookies, snacks and panettone.
