Cipriani alla Giudecca is one of Venice's most charming hotels. The scenic location, overlooking the Giudecca canal, with Piazza San Marco as its backdrop, offers unmatched views (a bonus). The Belmond group, which entered the orbit of LVMH a few years ago, knows that such beauty must be preserved with care and never squandered. It's in this light, where uniqueness becomes exclusivity, that their "Oro" needs to be understood. It's a single table for a maximum of six diners who will have the utmost attention of a trained staff, all accompanied by explanations of the individual dishes by chef Davide Bisetto himself, a connoisseur of local gastronomy who's gifted with impeccable technique. It's difficult to point to specific dishes, because they change continuously according to the season, the fish market and the inspiration of the chef, whose skill is on display when it comes to fine cuts of meat as well. The menu is the same for everyone and is offered at 240 (any allergies must be communicated when booking). For those guests lucky enough to find a place, there's also a huge wine list made up of some of the best bottles in the world.
