A name that's increasingly becoming a guarantee of excellence, Berberè's Verona location is situated in the city center. Looking out at one of its most beautiful squares, this is a nice stop for anyone who loves tasting new pizzas made with sourdough starter, superbly leavened and topped with choice ingredients that draw on seasonal availability. The result is an easy-to-digest crust that's properly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. There's Margherita with d'Agerola fiordilatte mozzarella, tomato, basil (there's also a nice version with smoked provola). Edgier choices include the spicy Cossack with 'nduja sauce, grated pecorino crotonese and basil, or the more original Babaganoush, with aubergine cream, tahini, datterino tomatoes, Greek yogurt, mint and smoked paprika. To complete your meal, or as a simple lunch break, there are salads and various sides likes olives, cold cuts, bruschetta and burrata. Craft beers, some Italian white wines and excellent desserts round out a range that won't leave you feeling unsatisfied.
