After arriving on the right bank of Lake Garda, an area he knows well, the 'very veronesian' Giancarlo Perbellini not only renovated a historic restaurant, including a prodigious terrace and suggestive interiors, but immediately found the right cuisine. In terms of location and clientele, Perbellini ai Beati Lago di Garda has (deliberately) aimed higher than at his Milanese location. Here Italian dishes made with quality ingredients reflect Perbellini's hand: creamed pike and gazpacho, rabbit tuna sauce, warm swordfish with roasted peppers and green sauce. Three tasting menus are available (Cinque, Sette and Senza, which is free of fish, meat and gluten) if you don't want to choose off their wide-ranging menu. House desserts and an interesting selection of wines. Exemplary service for this type of venue.
