The Zambon family have been managing this authentic eatery for over 20 years. Isabella is accompanied by her two talented children, Jessica and Filippo, while the kitchen is entrusted to the skilled hands of young chef Stefano Novello. It all starts with unbeatable zucchini flowers, stuffed with delicate ricotta and orange peel then fried to perfection. Then there's creamed cod and two types of lasagna (classic "home-style" or, in spring, with prawns and artichokes from the island of Sant'Erasmo). All the ingredients used come from small local producers, mostly farms on the lagoon's smaller islands. Mainly Venetian and national wines. Isabella provides attentive, careful service.
