This spacious, bright and modern café is worth a stop anytime of day, from breakfast to aperitif. The long, striking counter that crosses the shop showcases a rich and enticing assortment, all prepared with fine technique and carefully selected ingredients. Their baked breakfast goods are made with sourdough starter and rise for at least 14 hours. The croissants are recommended, as are the puffed pastries with jams and creams and their orange-flavored "horseshoe", all of which are very light (only egg whites are used in the dough). The Venetian with Bourbon vanilla chantilly is also delicious, though it's always worth keeping an eye on their "limited edition" products. Lovely, delectable mini pastries are accompanied by single-serving treats and cakes, and there's no shortage of interesting reinterpretations. Their savory foods and lunch menu items are delicious. Finally, their excellent coffee supports everything in the best possible way. Their espressos reveal the complex aromas of pure Arabica, while artfully frothed milk guarantees that their cappuccinos have a thick, velvety cream.
