28 Pastai is an artisan pasta producer whose name hearkens back to the early-19th century, when 28 mills served 28 pasta factories along the Valle dei Mulini di Gragnano. It all began in the 1930s in what was then called "Mulino e Pastificio Emidio Di Nola". After more than half a century, the son of one of the business's employees returned to revive that magical alchemy between water, climate and imagination that's at the base of the Pasta di Gragnano PGI production zone.
