In 1864, Raffaello Bosco created the first recipe for amaro silano, made from precious Calabrian herbs. Prior to this ingenious idea, the liqueur was only made in the rural homes, after careful selection of the herbs and for private consumption. Since then, Bosco liqueurs have made their mark and the products are purchased all over Italy, including by wealthy consumers. Today four new partners continue the production and mindful of the Bosco reputation for quality, consolidate and promote the brand in Italy and abroad.
