Cuneesi al rhum are iconic confectionery made by this historic patisserie since 1923. Cuneesi vaunt many imitations but are really inimitable bonbons made with Andrea Arione's legendary recipe of a double meringue containing chocolate and rum cream, dipped in more chocolate for the classic version and with a Grand Marnier option. Then there are hazelnut, cremino, chestnut cream versions. Other artisanal delights include baci dorati, marrons glacés, gianduiotti, pralines, génepy and Piedmontese mountain spirits.
