Founded in 1964, it wasn't until the 1970s that Coam began processing North American wild salmon, marketing it under the brand Scandia. It's a special product, caught on the open sea and frozen on board to guarantee and preserve its organoleptic characteristics. The same attention is paid to all Scandia fish products: swordfish, tuna, octopus, shellfish and lake fish. There's also a line dedicated to fish roe and farmed salmon.
