Enrico Russino's firm is based in the Ragusa countryside, just inland from the coast. It markets typical herbs and spices from Sicily and further afield, both in pots and cut. Capers are its key product and are also sold as an ornamental plant. Enrico also produces oregano, thyme, sage, basil, and a selection of exotic plants. Visitors are welcome if they call first to go over and breathe in the flavour and fragrance of all his wonderful leaves, mouth-watering sauces he makes with them, and other typically Sicilian ingredients.
