About a year ago the renowned La Baita company, famous for its excellent EVO, merged with Galleano and expanded its product range. The two hectares of terraced vegetable gardens and orchards produce herbs like thyme, borage, savory, dandelion, and wild fennel for drying, but also jams, including a lovely myrtle-leaved orange, candied fruits and fruit in wine, not to mention preserved tomatoes, vegetables in oil with some excellent Albenga artichokes and trombetta courgettes, olives, pâté, and pesto.
