Founded in 1932 by Hermann Lay of Nashville, Tennessee (USA), in 1965 Lay's (then Frito-Lay, a producer specialized in chips and snacks) would merge with the Pepsi-Cola Company, thus forming PepsiCo, the large North American multinational that continues to own the Lay's brand today. Finally, in 2014, the world's best-selling chips brand landed in Italy. Apart from their "Classiche" and "Mediterrananee" chips, there are other variations, like salt and vinegar (gluten-free), sweet paprika, bacon, "campagnole" (also gluten-free) and their XTRA version (wavy and barbecue-sauce flavored). With their flavor and delicious crunchiness, everyone loves Lay's chips, making them the ideal snack for any occasion.
