Alival Spa is the parent company that has operated in the dairy sector since the 1980s, and now has two plants, respectively at Ponte Buggianese (Pistoia), specializing in the production of mozzarella for pizza and various other dairy specialities, including the famous Condipizza; and the plant in Porcari (province of Lucca), where spun and fresh cheese such as mozzarella and ricotta are made. In the early 1990s the company initiated a group policy with which it managed to bring to market STG and PDO products, rare until that time and which marked the start of its success. Alival recently joined in Nuova Castelli of Reggio Emilia.
