The Gritti family, who have owned farm in the heart of the Po Valley since 1968, began breeding Latina and Caserta buffalo in 2001. The livestock is raised in open barns, with controlled feeding, to ensure its wellbeing. The state-of-the-art Quattro Portoni in-house dairy farm processes the milk sold. There are over 20 types of cheeses aged here, including the award-winning Blu di Bufala, the maison's pride and joy. Also worthy are the ricotta, crescenza, scamorza, squacquerone, muratello, yogurt, mozzarella, and caciocavallo.
