Ercole Trinci established his Florence coffee-roasting business in 1939 but it was his son Andrea, still at the helm today with sister Chiara, who developed it and despite ups and downs, expanded into other fields, including wine and chocolate, developed it further and expanded. Its partnership with Slow Food grew thanks to its work with two prize blends, Impressioni, made from Slow Food Presidium coffees, and later with the production of small and large milk and dark chocolate bars, as well as some flavoured with San Rossore honey, chilli, and vanilla.
