In the circuit of Italy's Most Beautiful Villages, Vipiteno in the Upper Isarco Valley offers numerous attractions. On December 4th, the ski slopes of the Monte Cavallo area, just a few minutes from the town, will open, accessible via a modern cable car. Already underway is the annual Christmas Market, among the most famous in Alto Adige, held in the splendid medieval centre.

An alternative sports activity is sledding, thanks to a dedicated track of 10 kilometres, which is the longest in Europe. Also, there's great news on the food and wine front, with the renowned Alto Adige Doc Valle Isarco wines and many excellent products: game, speck, cheese, bread, honey, fruit...
