Cheese bread

Ingredients

1 kg flour

50 g yeast

100 g parmesan cheese

5 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil

1 egg, plus 1 egg yolk for brushing

1 teaspoon of sugar

1 tablespoon of salt

Crumble the yeast in a bowl with some water, then add the sugar, the olive oil and the lightly beaten egg. Add a tablespoon of salt to the flour, then add the grated cheese. Add the yeast mixture to the flour and knead the dough for about ten minutes, then let it rest for 30 minutes. Divide the dough in three different parts and press them all. Roll up each dough and let them rest until they double their size. Brush each dough with the beaten egg yolk and bake the bread at 180°C for 40 minutes.

Bread with olives

500 g flour

50 g extra virgin olive oil

25 g yeast

120 g black olives

1 teaspoon of salt

Crumble the yeast in a bowl with ¼ liter of lukewarm water. Pour the yeast mixture into the flour, then add the olive oil and the salt. Mix the ingredients together and knead the dough for 5 minutes, then let it rest for about an hour. Roll out the dough and add the olives, then knead the dough again and let it rest for 1 hour and half. Cook the bread at 200°C for 50 minutes.

Potato bread

400 g potatoes

750 g flour, plus more for dusting

1 packet of dry yeast

60 g butter

1 tablespoon of sugar

100 g yogurt

2 garlic cloves

2 tablespoons of chopped dill

Olive oil

Salt

White pepper

Boil the potatoes, peel them and mash them. Crumble the yeast in a cup with lukewarm water and sugar. In a bowl, mix together the mashed potatoes, the yogurt, the butter, two teaspoons of salt, some chopped dill, white pepper and the garlic cloves, plus 600 grams of flour. Add the yeast and start kneading the dough. Keep kneading the dough while adding the rest of the flour. Let it rest for an hour and half. Knead the dough again for a few minutes and let it rest for 30 minutes. Bake the bread at 180°C for an hour.
