In 2007, the Gurgo siblings Camillo, Angela Maria and Maria Idria, of Castelmenardo, established this farm on the hills in the province of Rieti, in the heart of the Sabina PDO district. Their oil, made mainly from carboncella, frantoio, leccino, and pendolino olives, processed within 12 hours of harvesting in a local continuous-cycle olive press, has grown in quality over recent years. In addition to its Sabina PDO, monovarietal and aromatized oils, the firm also produces mouth-watering sweet and savoury spreads, preserves and EVO-based cosmetics.
