In 1952 Paolo Mozzicato founded a large agricultural producer that included a modern oil press and olive groves. Today his grandchildren are at the helm, leading the 120-hectare estate. About 5,000 trees (many of which go back at least a century) occupy more than 35 hectares. They also breed cattle and cultivate other crops like carobs, almonds, farm vegetables, citrus fruits and durum wheat.
