Their San Marzano di Solania tomatoes are grown in Agro Nocerino-Sarnese. In the can one finds firm and whole tomatoes preserved only with added salt. Bright red in color, they prove full-bodied and fragrant. To the eye they're clearly handcrafted, authentic. Aromatically it's evident that they've been canned fresh, with the trademark sweet and acidic notes for which they're known emerging. On the palate, both when consumed raw and after cooking, they're tart, accompanied by a hint of bitterness that's common to the San Marzano tomato.
