The family restaurant is a tribute to their mother - the daughter of immigrants from Emilia. The Aleixos are Italian-Brazilians from Rio who have built a solid reputation for their fine Italian cuisine. In an elegant setting, furnished with antiques and fine bone china, siblings Ana Lucia and John Carlos offer classic Italian dishes that are revisited according to local taste. Fish and pasta are the main menu attractions: we recommend the grouper baked in an almond and citrus bread crust, the grilled cod fillet with caper sauce, and the risotto with black olives, lemon and basil. Accepts cash payments only.
