This restaurant is the closest you can get to Neaples in town. Two are the locations in the city: the former opened in 2015 in the Rocky Gardens area, while the latter opened in 2017 in Condesa, thanks to the Mexican entrepreneurs José and Alfonso Jarero. Their signature pizza is certified by Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana, which ensures an authentic product, made following the original recipe. With a thick and well-defined crust, and a high hydration dough, the well-executed pies are light and slightly chewy. From the open wood-fired oven come out some Italian classics, starting with a proper DOC Margherita with San Marzano tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella. Then there are the Capricciosa, Marinara, and Parmigiana pizzas, all prepared with quality products that make for a fragrant outcome. On the menu, even a selection of Italian cold cuts and cheeses, as well as a few traditional dishes, including tiramisu dessert and a small selection of Italian wines. A vibrant atmosphere and fair prices complete the experience.
The best pizzerias are marked with 1,2,3 'spicchi' according to their quality grades.
