We are in the realm of Fabio Cardilio. The atmosphere is well-created and original, with furnishings that replicate a historic suitcase store of the early 1900s. An eight-course menu at 34 euro can solve every wish and problem. On the à la carte menu, sarde a beccafico; stewed snails; bucatini with sardines and wild fennel; baked Anelletti Al Forno; baked lamb; swordfish rolls. Glorious finale with cannoli and cassata. On the wine list are a hundred labels, of which more than half are part of the so-called "natural". Great coffee.
The best trattorias/bistrots are marked with 1,2,3 shrimps according to their quality grades.
