Situated in the city center, along the street after which it was named, this family-run venue has been a veritable institution for over half a century. Small and tidy, characterized by wood ceilings and a vintage entranceway, it's a safe haven for those looking for textbook coffee (self-roasted and of varying geographic origins), but also for lovers of herbal teas, which are abundant and perfect to enjoy steaming hot with their house biscuits. An ideal alternative for a winter afternoon is hot chocolate. Here it's prepared thick, velvety and enriched with a nice puff of cream (there are also excellent, flavored variants like hazelnut and orange). Add a nice choice of baked goods, sweets, chocolate and you'll understand why the place is often crowded. But the staff knows how to manage high influxes.
