The name went from "Antica" (ancient) to "Insolita" (unusual), perhaps due to a reaction to the vain antiquity of too many other brands. Here, however, history is indeed present, with almost seventy years of family tradition. But the advent of Lorenzo in the kitchen, youngest of the Romano family, as changed rhythm and scenarios now: in the evening the cuisine is creative (based on typical products), while lunch and Sunday rituals are devoted to traditional recipes heritage of this place located in the stadium area of the city, not very popular with tourists. Three rooms gracefully furnished and - rarity in the city - lovely internal garden. The dishes, although made with very modern techniques, have substance and deep roots: the wild pork cappelletti in jus and Parmigiano foam are solid and tasty; and the pork rind in two textures, baked and popped, amuses and hits the mark.
