A historic osteria situated in an area far from the confusion of Piazza San Marco and neighbored by other, authentic bacari and trattorias. Inside its two rooms are intimate, warm and welcoming. There's also an outdoor dining area in a small courtyard. Debora entertains her guests, passionately describing the dishes that her husband, Marcellino, prepares in the kitchen. Try their Venetian-style liver, cut into petal shapes (as per tradition) and browned to perfection, just like the onions. Particular attention is paid to desserts, like their fantastic panna cotta with a must-wine sauce. A limited wine list includes carefully-studied options. Personalized and attentive service managed directly by Debora.
The best trattorias/bistrots are marked with 1,2,3 shrimps according to their quality grades.
