This intimate space is arguably one of the most authentic gems in the city for Italian food. With a subtle nod to Italy’s Northern regions, guests can choose between offerings from the daily fresh sheet or Chef’s tasting menu. La Quercia creates balanced dishes using seasonal, (local and imported), high quality ingredients. This includes annual white truffle dinners in November. Bread, pasta, a selection of cure meats and desserts are made in the house. During our last visit we enjoyes some thin agnolotti del plin and a perfectly cooked Hanger steak, served with arugola and balsamico vinegar. The wine list includes a compact collection of Champagne, Italian classic DOCG wines and less well-known selections. Service here is professional and nonintrusive, making it an ideal location for romantic or special occasions.
