A journey that, by now, has made history. A journey of family and the territory of Alpago. A tradition of hospitality (the inn, the restaurant and all their attending elements) that has carried on for four generations, never stopping, and always remaking itself: through the pursuit of elegance, research, the broadening of horizons, but always making warmth and affection a central pillar, one that's brought out in well-prepared food. And so their menus and the presentation of the dishes continue to evolve, but in a coherent way, without leaving behind or repudiating any of the precious ingredients and "know-how" accumulated over the years: the icon of the famous local lamb (in ragù with coratella and fragrant fricassee, on delectable bigoli al torchio pasta), the contribution of the woods, the fine combination of calf "testina" and the iodine accent of the sea urchin, the final touch of chocolate, olives and Campari. The wine cellar has always been a source of pride, for its originality, breadth and balance (glasses at the counter are the prologue and epilogue to the rest). The service is knowledgeable, cheerful, like everything here.
