Run by the Ghedina family for two generations, Lovat boasts a long history. Guests are welcomed in an atmosphere dominated by wood furnishings and light marble, all topped off by a covered terrace that offers a pleasant outdoor dining area year round. The classic style is also reflected in the foods on offer, which are reliably faithful to tradition. Their kitchen is the fulcrum around which everything revolves, churning out the many sweet and savory delicacies that populate their sparkling counter top. In terms of the former, slices of cake (Sacher, Black Forest, buckwheat with hazelnuts, almonds, cranberry jam) stand out along with pastries, biscuits and croissants (even wholemeal or vegan)when it comes to these last we recommend the delicious, warm savory versions. Ice cream and the various, well-made foodstuffs from their café complete the picture. Courteous service.
