For more than half a century (and three generations) the Mazzari family have delighted Padua with their artisanal pastries. A large display counter and many shelves of delicious products welcome those who enter, showcasing a rich assortment and the shop's impressive range. Fresh, dry and savory pastries, cakes and single-serving treats are accompanied by chocolates, jams, spreads and other products for the gourmet pantry (everything is homemade). The repertoire varies from season to season and is continually enriched with special limited edition items. In summer, for example, you'll find their Amaranto semifreddo (lactose free), with almond biscuit, vanilla panna cotta, mango coulis, mousse and raspberry glaze. In winter there's their Mont Blanc mini pastries (chocolate cestino, chestnut cream and rum). Traditional classics like cannoncino, whose butter pastry shell is filled with a naturally bright yellow custard, silky and smooth, are available year round. Their interesting experiments with baked goods include classics and variations (such as panettone with delicious toppings in a gift boxChristmas Cake at Christmas and Ferragone in August).
