Giuseppe Corsaro has created a smart and successful concept. He decided to let only the mums cooking in the kitchen, with a regional focus that changes every 3 months. They, the "mammas", are Italian women who take turns quarterly, selected through a real recruitment process that starts from the online application, continues with interviews and cooking tests. Today La Mia Mamma gots two restaurants in London (one in Chelsea and the other one in Nothing Hill) and delivers tasty package all over the city. The menu offers a no-frill experience based on authentic regional recipes. From the last menu we suggest the ziti alla genovese and the generous ragù napoletano (cooked for 6 hours). The wine list could use a little bit of improvement. Good service and a great value for money meal.
