Ten years have passed since Andrea and Martina settled in the countryside between Treviso and Venice, and the pair are celebrating the occasion. Their Turbine is an authentic place, adorned with wooden beams, a pergola, rustic decor and plenty of greenery. It's a country trattoria (simple and delicious) that has gradually become a gourmet trattoria thanks to quality, well-presented dishes, attention to ingredients, and precise service. Progress has been slow but sure, without arrogance, as certified by a menu that changes sees 'signature dishes' (like pasta and beans) alternate seasonally with new creations that often become subsequent classics, like their poached egg with Parmesan cream, asparagus and seasonal herbs. Don't even think of taking it off the menu now.
The best trattorias/bistrots are marked with 1,2,3 shrimps according to their quality grades.
