This Neapolitan pizzeria is located in the trendy Paceville neighbourhood on the island. Merit for the success goes to Manuel Marra, the young restaurant manager who is walking in his father Lillo’s footsteps, a twenty-year resident of Malta. Pies are well baked and doughs properly risen, and topped with quality ingredients including fine extra virgin olive oil and tomato, plus fiordilatte cheese and properly drained mozzarella di bufala which doesn’t release excess liquid. Do not forego the pizza La Vesuvio topped with ricotta, mozzarella di bufala and prosciutto. We loved the Parthenope topped with calamari, mussels and clams, reminiscent of the Neapolitan fishing tradition. The wine list is in tune with the pizzeria’s standards.
The best pizzerias are marked with 1,2,3 'spicchi' according to their quality grades.
