Susumu Kakinuma is a pioneer of authentic Neapolitan pizza in Tokyo. Before opening in Nakameguro, he was already distinguished for his culinary skills at another venue named Savoy, which he opened in 1995. Today, Susumu, in total respect for Neapolitan tradition, offers his clientele a minimalist menu consisting exclusively of pizza margherita and marinara. The pies boast thick and soft crusts, and they can be enjoyed outside or in the indoor dining room of the restaurant, which is organized on two levels. Service is fast and friendly.
