Standard opened in 2014 in Prenzlauer Berg. The pies, Neapolitan-style, have still a particularly raised rim and a soft and fragrant bite, baked with good precision and care but nos as good as they were over the last years. The classic Margherita is elastic and melt-in-your-mouth, while the Cetara pizza or the Amalfi with lemon flavoured ricotta are reminiscent of the Amalfi Coast. Do not miss the traditional calzone with ricotta, pork cracklings, smoked mozzarella, pecorino, tomato sauce, salami. The wine list with both Italian and German references is interesting.
The best pizzerias are marked with 1,2,3 'spicchi' according to their quality grades.
