Francesca Seralvo Bragiotti and winemaker Stefano Malchiodi welcome visitors to the striking Corvino San Quirico estate, considered one of the most scenic in the area. Purchased by Enrico Bragiotti in the 1980s, the winery now offers enchanting experiences, including guided tastings in their beautiful 19th-century villa. Mazzolino's history has been deeply influenced by sustainable agriculture, with a particular focus on pinot nero and chardonnay, drawing inspiration from the great examples of Burgundy. Expert consultants such as Kyriakos Kynigopoulos for the red pinot nero and Dominique Leboeuf for Metodo Classico are also part of the team. After several years, the producer is back with Tre Bicchieri, thanks to the Pinot Nero Terrazze Alte '21. Its nose captivates with a complex mix of violets, mountain herbs, citrus, and flint, while on the palate, it strides confidently, full, fresh, and harmonious. Its older sibling, the Noir '20, is full, juicy, leaning more towards dark berriesa wine destined for greatness.
