Owned by Roberto Bianchi, Val delle Corti represents another extraordinary example of Chianti sangiovese's potential. The vineyards, situated in the Radda in Chianti UGA production zone, are organically cultivated and vinified according to traditional methods in the cellar. The resulting wines exhibit a unique stylistic profile that accentuates aromatic clarity and gentle yet vibrant structure, making them admirable expressions of the territory, with few equals in the whole of Chianti Classico. The Chianti Classico '20 possesses nuanced and clear aromas, supported by a tapestry of flowers, small red fruits and smoky flashes. On the palate, the wine is light, expanding in a delightful and rhythmic manner. The Chianti Classico Riserva '19 is no less impressive, though denser in its progression and more intense in its aromas. The Lo Straniero '20, a blend of sangiovese and merlot, is a juicy drink. We also appreciated the Extra '19, a sapid monovarietal Sangiovese, as well as the Rosé Scuro '22 an absolute joy to drink.
