Dedicated to grandfather Leone Zardini, the Amarone is released only after a long cellaring, with a superb 2013 vintage. The ripe fruit is dominant on the nose, gradually leaving room for balsamic and mineral notes, with pepper peeping out. The sip represents the perfect harmony between richness, alcohol and acidity, making it long and fascinating.
