The Nebbiolo grapes that give life to this Barolo come from a vineyard of just under two hectares, facing south-east at an altitude of 450 metres. After being aged two years in large wood barrels and one in concrete, the Sottocastello di Novello shows a very fragrant, fruity bouquet of wild berry tones, enriched with balsamic nuances. Harmonious tannins, with good texture and great balance in the mouth.
