VINEYARD | The winery's name corresponds to an historic vineyard, a plot of only nebbiolo grapes where they produce a great-value Lessona, rich in aromas, vibrant and vital on the palate. From some of the estate's younger plots (one hectare in all, between the La Prevostura vineyard and rows of Colline Novaresi) comes instead this rosé of great character, also the child solely of the nebbiolo variety. The vineyard is 330 meters above sea level and the soils are rich in marine sands, silts and clays. Here temperature ranges and the proximity of Monte Rosa-which protects against winds from the north-ensure an ideal microclimate for growing vines.
PEOPLE | Marco Bellini is the body and soul of La Prevostura, a business he runs with the help of his daughter Elisa and her husband Martino Morello. In addition, recently, the team has been enriched by some prominent figures in the wine world. Luca De Marchi, of Sperino Properties, has joined the management team, but also the Ferraris cousins, textile entrepreneurs who are investing in farmland and vineyard plantings. United by a great passion for wine and the desire to enhance even more the viticulture of these lands, the new team continues in the sign traced by Marco. Producing authentic and territorial wines, children of artisan workmanship and great drinkability.
WINE | Manual harvest, cold maceration for a few hours and four months in steel before bottling. Here we are faced with a rosé that is as rare as it is good, a sincere fruit of the lands of Alto Piemonte. The Corinna amazes right from the nose. So much finesse expressed through scents of flowers, starting with lily of the valley and violets, followed by an explosion of berries and a light touch of spice. The mouth has all the freshness that the nebbiolo variety can express, the acidity is well integrated with a rich and very deep savory matter. The tannin, delicate, gives rhythm to the sip that rivals to the end clean and of great elegance.
